Thank you starbug. We still have not removed her tank from the room - gotta do it soon as it makes me feel sad ever time I go in there...that room just feels so empty now. We might look for another unwanted hamster to adopt in the new year (sadly, there are generally quite a few posted for free on the buy/sell ads here). I think Trix would approve, but I need to get over the loss of Trix first....not ready to adopt a new baby yet.
