Default Help, please - is this normal?

I got this hamster for my daughter. His name is Ham Ham. He's very sweet, and extremely active. He's eating, drinking, and behaving normally. But his rear end is usually really swollen. It was semi normal for a few hours today, but now it's getting swollen again. Is this normal, or is something going on. I'm in a small town, and will have to check if the vet can even see a hamster, if that's what's needed. Any advice or input is appreciated!!! Thanks, y'all!

He's a Chinese male and they has astonishingly large testicles - about a third body length! he is likely just young and developing so they will get bigger! This is normal. Make sure you get a nice big wheel so he does not rub them on a smaller one. There are some useful pics here for you the compare with:

Lol when I was getting my Chinese hamster boy, the clerk at the store said, "are you sure you want a male?" lol She said many people are turned off by their large boy parts. It doesn't bother me at all though. My Sister says I should keep his rear out of photos though. lol
