Unhappy Neptune at the vets!

Last night we noticed Neptunes scent gland was swollen. In this pic, we had dabbed it with warm salt solution to bathe it.

Siding on the edge of caution, booked him in with a small pet specialist. He was as good as gold whilst we waited for an appointment and even got some sleeping in!

The vet wants to run a test on the gland first thing tomorrow and suggested leaving him there. Check where he would be staying and was reluctant leaving him but knew it made sense. Everything crossed he is okay.

He'll be 4 months old tomorrow.... Hope he's going to be okay.

Hope it goes well tomorrow and is just a little blockage or an infection that is easily treated. I think he was feeling the heat there
Good luck tomorrow wee man x

Think he was feeling the heat too, there was cucumber in his carrier and we actually had the lid off his carrier...wasn't phased by other pets just carried on snoozing!

Will keep you all posted, hopefully it is a little blockage or something easily treated.
