Default Hamster fur tuft

I have put this on a post in another part of the website but not sure where to put it so adding it here alao as i cant find a way to delete it off there

I'm not sure if i have wrote this in the right place but i have just bought two syrian hamsters to join my family, they are brothers and are just a couple of days away from been 7 weeks old who i have namesd pepsi and max because i love pepsi max lol, now this might sound like a stupid question but i have never come across this before, below pepsi's eye he has what looks like a tuft of hair or any ingrowing hair, it looks like when someone has sewed something wrong but when i have looked at it properly its a longer tuft of fur growing through, wondering if anyone has any idea if this is normal?

Hello katjacks. The best thing to do is to take a photo and show us the tuft. Then we can see what you mean. Pepsi and Max, being Syrians, are in separate cages, right? Syrian hamsters need to separated by the age of 8 weeks old. I hope to see a photo of them soon

yes they are in 2 seperate starter cages at the moment while i get them used to everything and tame them for a couple of weeks then they are going in alexander cages, when i brought them home i kept them together in the car but started fighting even though they were used to living together so i seperated them straight away, was a nightmare trying to sort a cage out in the back of the car lol.

I will try and get a photo tonight as i dont want to wake him and startle him when hes still settling in
