Large amount of urine
My hamster Tubby a Syrian made a large'puddle' in his cage. Most urine puddles are not really noticeably wet but when I put him in his cage after outside time, I went away and came back and there was a HUGE puddle( soaked up by thr bedding) near the wheel. Is that normal? He has NEVER done this in the past three weeks.

Is he drinking an excess amount of water? Does the urine smell sweet?

Yes he is drinking a lot and the urine doesn't smell.

How old is he? I would guess kidney issues as sometimes when they are having kidney trouble they are unable to concentrate their urine which leads to a lot of urine that is clearer and smells less than normal. Of course, I'm not a vet, and I don't have that much information so this is just a guess based on very little.

I dunno but he went to four inches when he stretched and 2 inches when he curls up to sleep and three inches when walking normally

His size doesn't really tell me much about his age. If you are concerned you can take him to a vet as they will be able to diagnose him most accurately.
