Question In need of some advice.

Hey Guys,
I am worried about my hamster she was due to give birth on the 27th of December on the 30th I took her to the vets as she still hadn't given birth. After the vet said she was fine she gave birth to one pup and ate it. From what I have seen she didn't produce anymore. She now has dried milk on her nipples and she has been producing discharge from down below. As far as I know she hasn't been in heat. She hasn't lost any weight since pregnancy and her belly seems more pink underneath and larger than normal. Is it time to take little miss to the vets or is it normal for hamsters? Thought I'd ask you guys as you might have experienced it before. I just love my little hammy so much, maybe I worry too much.

Thanks in advance for all advice and help.

I think a vet trip could also be needed i'm afraid. There are a number of thhings that could be wrong, one of them being that there still could be a pup or two inside her?

She has been to the vets. They used an ultrasound to check she hadn't got any pups stuck inside her. They also checked her for Pyometra. She is in the clear she has been given some antibiotics to be on the safe side. She is now home and cleaning the ultrasound gel off of herself. She was covered in it. I'm dreading trying to get her to take the antibiotics in the syringe. I am happy i went to the vets though its put my mind at ease and now I know she will be fine.
