My baby has cushings
My Syrian Pepper has cushings disease. She has lost half her fur, has dry skin and her jaw hangs slack. She has also lost the sparkle in her eyes and the energy she once had. I don't think she will be here much longer. I'm not sure when the symptoms started but I really noticed them last month. She is just a year and a half old. The picture below was taken about 2 weeks ago. She has lost lots more fur now. She does still come out for snuggles every nights and runs all over me, otherwise she sleeps 23 or so hours a day. I know there is a very informative thread on this topic already, but I thought I would share my journey as we'll. I'll post more progress pics and updates as time goes on.

Re: My baby has cushings
There is no cure for hamsters, it can be treated in larger animals like cats and dogs though.
Here is another update:
Here she is, almost completely bald
She is still pretty active when I take her out of the cage, and will still go for short runs in her ball. She still eats very well and enjoys her treats. She doesn't appear to be in any pain.
