Location Portsmouth, Hampshire

One hamster

Currently we have no vet fund but we'll set aside around £200 in due course.

A consultation is £27 but as Monday's vet visit was an emergency and out of hours it came to around £80 plus another £100 in various treatments which unfortunately included a euthanasia treatment plus cremation cost. In addition it was around £20 in taxi fares so around £200 all told.

Area: North London
Fund: £200
Number of hamsters: 1
Small animal consultation: £36.50
Follow-up: £29.50
Antibiotics: <£10
Metacam: £18 for 3ml!!
Diuretic (Frusol): £6
Total of previous costs: £133

We're undergoing treatment for congestive heart failure, so all these costs are related to that...I expect we'll reach around £250.

Rear leg amputation. £277.37

This included:
£30.80 Consultation
£152.88 Surgical Time
£39.25 Anaesthetic

The rest was made up of various sundries.

If an Xray was needed would be a further £80 and if she pulled her stitches out further surgery but at a lower cost.
