Sometimes emergencies do pop up, as it did for Mylo yesterday when he was sighing in pain, lethargic, & barely eating. An emergency vet visit in the US, with Antibiotic & Critical Care Feed supplies came to $136.00. A regular visit without any medicines would be $65. My vet treats exotic animals, so they are skilled to treat Hamsters.

Okay - this is my first posy so hope im doing it right

Could Soufle please PM me about who your vet is - I am on the yorkshire border and need a good hamster vet so might be able to use this one . I have recently been charged £34 for consultation and a teaspoon of baytrill and this after they told me the consultation was £15 then changed thier mind , I am not keen on having him operated on there now as they only seem to care about the money. Do your vets really only charge £50 for your hamsters surgery , that is very good as mine was mentioning £240. Hope you will be able to contact me so I can find out who this paractice are I would like to take Elvis there.

Freya cost me just over 50 pound. For a consult health check. 2 nails clipped. And 2 medication's. She did say that if we needed referral for tests it would be in excess of 100 pound. And over 200 if surgery was needed too.

Area:Bracknell,U.K.
Number of hamster:1
Small animal consultation: £20
Teeth trimming: £10.50
Used vets4pets in Wokingham pets at home. Very good service and said that as the teeth trimming will probably be a reoccurring thing next time I can go without th consultation so will keep the cost to £10.50 a visit.
