Re: Cushing disease experts plz click
That really does look like Cushings to me. Did her hair go a bit curly before it began to fall out? It's probably worth taking her to the vets to get it confirmed, they won't suggest the worst until her quality of life is really diminished.
Make sure you wrap her up warm (no other way to put it) if the weather goes a bit cooler...

It does look as if she has Cushing's lucy but just think of her as a hamster with her coat off and treat her the same but with the recommendations on the cushing's thread. There is also an article on the wiki (Left hand side) She is lovely regardless and I hope she stays comfy and happy for a while yet x

Re: Cushing disease experts plz click
It can affect any colour lucy. If it happened so quickly it could be that the tumour is very aggressive

Re: Cushing disease experts plz click
Definitely looks like cushing's i had a syrian with cushing's disease and she looked exactly the same. But she stayed with me for a good months just gave her extra bedding and fed her extra protein stuff like mealworms, tofu, chicken and baby food went down well (avoid any with garlic or onion in them) eventually she became very weak and didn't bother to leave her bed so i took her to the vets to help her over the rainbow bridge. Also moved food and water closer to where she slept as she struggled with walking.

O poor Maisy and poor you!
But you're at the right place for help.
For bedding for my picky girls i go to wilko's its a £1.00 and you can fluff it up and cut it up to make it "more" its not paper i think the website says its "edible vegetable parchment.
Wishing both you and Maisy well.
