Bunsey,

As Souffle said, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. We are all caring hamster lovers and you wouldn't let your hamsters suffer. It's one of those things that it seems that at least one of our hamsters is always on Baytril(I want to take out shares in the company )We learn as we go along and it's only through sites like this that you gain the knowledge to treat your hamsters when they get ill. On the syringe front, don't fill it to the top, just the right amount the vet has prescribed and distraction is definitely the best method.

Hope the sickly pair make a good recovery

I would squirt the meds into a small pill bottle or glass jar the only suck up the amount you need. Ours get 0,1ml per day.
Hope it gets easier.

Poor Max Hopefully the baytrail will kick in and it'll stop re-filling soon.

Hope Splodge feels better too!

Hi Bunsey sorry to hear about the little ones both having infections not nice. I really hope they both settle down soon and are on the mend.

they both seem a little better. Max's thing looks dark brown now so i think it's healing. it was bright red before. Splodge's eye is the same but that's after it got worse and then better so it's actually a good thing!
