would you give a sand bath to a long haired syrian ? I know my short haired have liked them and used them as a loo, but would it be a problem for long haired ones ?

Re: sand baths for long haired syrian
My fluffy boy loves his. It's the first thing he goes to when I put him back in the cage, I think he's trying to get rid of the smelly hooman smells on his fur

Re: sand baths for long haired syrian
We have sandbaths for both long @ short haired Syrians (& our Chinese too) & they all love them. I think it helpd to keep their coats in good condition. Monty the Chinese uses his to bath in, as a toilet and to store exciting food - lovely!
