Default Handling a Hammy

Hiya, so I've got a new baby yesterday. She's albino Syrian and so friendly. I've had hamsters before so I know how to handle them but I just want to know whether you handle an albino differently to an 'ordinary' Syrian? Or do you treat them exactly the same?

You handle them exactly the same. Why would they be any different?

Well, considering their eyes, I didn't know if you had to take further precaution as they have worser sight than 'normal' hamsters.

Well, they may be a little more jumpy than others but eyesight isn't the main sense the hamsters use Just be slightly slower than normal when moving towards her and she'll be fine

She doesn't seem too jumpy to be fair to her, she's very friendly and confident but I was just worried that I'd stress her if she couldn't see me but I know eyesight isn't the only scense they use because it's preety weak too but she'll use her other senses to get to know me like smell.
