What does syrian hamster urine look like??
What does healthy normal hamster urine look like?? I've only seen dried ham wee which is dark in colour.

My hammies wee has been cloudy since I brought him home, so I'm assuming this is normal..

I have one Syrian hamster named Theodore. I don't know his exact birth date, but with some educated guessing I would say it was approximately the 6th June.
I love him!

It's a little more difficult to tell because Hadley now goes in her litter box, but I would say a slightly opaque, medium yellow to light-yellowish-brown (when dried)

It's cloudy...Looks kinda like cloudy lemonade and it's thicker than normal human pee!

I was freaked out the first time I saw Boo Bears wee - Honey never wee'd outside her cage so I never got to see "fresh wee" as such but Boo Bear was really nervous when we first got him from his breeder and would wee on you whenever you got him out. I thought "oh my god, look at his wee! what's wrong with him!"

Thank god!! Our chinese hamsters are so clean and they only urinate in one place- a ceramic eeyore mug  . We never see their fresh wee so when we saw our new (first)
syrian's wee I was like OMG she's been sick!! I googled it and thought the 'sick' was a reaction to the milk bones I had tried her on recently. She usually pees in her corner under her shelf out of the way, so I never see fresh we but recently she's taken to using the sand bath as a toilet, which is on the the shelf so I can see her wee!! Glad to know it's normal
