Exclamation Hamster testicles

Hi everyone,
I know this isn't the nicest topic but I'm getting more worried about Sammy my 3 month old Sydian.

On Sunday he wouldn't eat a thing, not even his favourite green pepper. Every breath he took I could hear a loud click. Come the evening this stopped and he just slept.

Throughout the week he has sounded better. The clicking has stopped and been replaced with sneezing and more teeth Chattering than normal. his appetite is back and he is drinking a minute amount as normal. He's never keen to come out but now he's changed and he's incredibly nervous, I can't even stroke him now.

He feels slightly Colder than normal to the touch, not cold just colder.

Now, his eyes are shiny, but his nose is clear so I'm not sure if one of the noises are sneezing. I put an open Jar of Vicks on top of the cage and the sneezing is less.

Now to the subject of this post. His balls! We all know hamsters have huge balls, but are they meant to be inside the body? Sammy has two little red balls outside next to his tail the size of a petit pois pea each. Going to try and attach a pic.

I've trawled the net for hours and nothing says anything about them being outside....
