Nibbles shows off new "Wodent Wheel"!
Well, I've not been on here for a few weeks, been busy with visiting parents!
Anyhoo, our latest news... Nibbles had now out grown his old "Silent Spinner" wheel so I ordered him a new "wodent wheel" and boy does he approve! I felt so bad because two days after I had ordered his new wheel his silent spinner wheel broke! He was left with NO WHEEL! And I couldn't get out to get him a new one and couldn't repair it. Anyway, I filled his tank up with all sorts of toys, and tubes, cereal boxes with paper and treats, just to keep him busy, and he seemed to enjoy this new, temporary obsticle course. He only had to endure this for two nights and his new wheel came. In it went! He was so funny to watch as he sniffed out this new "thing with holes" in his cage! But eventually he poked his head in a hole, found he could get inside and off he went - WOO HOOOOOO Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! So much more room (8" instead of 61/2") He LOVES it! And its quiet! he's a happy hammy once again, looking cute as ever, sticking his head out occasionaly to see if he's got anywhere! Have to share.....

Welcome back
Hope you had a nice time with the parents - and birthday too
Nibbles sure does look more comfortable in there and glad to hear it is quiet - keep it that way by lubricating the mechanism on your weekly clean-outs.

Nibbles is WAY so cute and WAY too photogenic, Im sorry but it really should be illegal lol. I feel Im going to catch some kind of "cute disease" every time I see a picture of everyone's hamsters! haha.
The Wodent Wheel looks nice if I ever need a new wheel I think I'll try one of those.

Wheels
Thanks guys for the cute comments! Hope you don't catch "Cute Disease" Candace, it's nasty! People looking at you all the time, saying how cute you are! LOL!
Thanks Babyboos, I had a fun Birthday! Big party with lots of friends, neighbours and of course my Mum and Dad! Lots of good food, wine and music!
Wheels - the Wodent Wheel comes in 3 sizes I believe. The smallest is the one I have and is 8", the best size for a full grown Syrian.
