Default Divider

Could you put them in your fish tank with a divider between them so they can still smell each other but not to try to eat each other?

I could use the lid as a divider lengthways giving them 2ft x 6 inches of space each - not sure I could fit wheels in that I'll have to have a fiddle. A divider widthways would be difficult as the tank has lips running down each long side. Otherwise I was thinking of putting them in wire cages side by side so they could see/smell each other whilst they're separate. In a few weeks when Pip's healed I think I might let them run in the bath together under supervision and see how it goes - maybe build up to them actually living together again.

When I put Pip back in the tank today after coming to uni with me, he seemed to spend half an hour looking for Merry. I don't know that's what he was doing, but rather than settling down to nest (it was the middle of the day) he dug over almost the entire cage and was running everywhere, round all the hidey holes.

I worry too much about these little guys!
