Default Chibi, her eye won't open even though her other one will

Does this help figure it out:
She got her leg hurt a long time ago
My mom accedentaly almost stepped on her. She didn't put her full weight on Chibi.
She seemed fine yesterday. She was able to open her eye this morning when I changed their food. Chibi kept her eyes shut for a while but finally woke up. I'm going to check the cage if anything in there is sharp, or harmful. I don't know what happened to her. I have I picture of her and I'll post it on another post.

Sometimes keeping their eyes shut/not able to open one or 2 of them can signal dehydration. If you run your fingers up her back from the base of the tail to the neck, can you feel much lose fatty skin or is she a little bony? If the latter then I would suggest buying a box of Dioralyte natural from your chemist for about £3.50 for 6/8 sachets and making up a sachet as instructed as dehydration caught early enough can save lives

I fed them this morning and both of them were awake and ready. I came back to check on them and Jelly was playing on the wheel and Chibi was up in the nesting box sleeping. I had her come down to the big part of the cage and petted her. She is still normal petting wise but tamer. I don't know what is wrong with her. I'll change their water and my dad is going to take her to the vet while I'm in school. Poor little Chibi. She's a little trooper. Even though her leg was hurting badly when she got hurt she still tried to run around. Now she is with one bad eye and still going on.

my mom took her to the vet today. She was actually really healthy. She was a bit sore and he forced her eye open. We just have to give her eye drops in her right eye 3 time daily for 4 days

Glad to hear she seems healthy otherwise and here's hoping the drops soon clear up her eye infection
