Default Conjunctivitus? Something wrong with Tic's eye

Well I think it was Thursday morning or something when I noticed, I'm not sure, but anyway. As some of you already know Tac has a little cut next to his eye which is healing nicely, so getting Tic out the other day to find this made me have to double check whether it really was Tic.

Anyway, he had a very watery eye with a red and inflamed eye lid. I showed mum and we rang the vets and decided to leave him for a few days incase he caught himself on something. Well tonight it's still the same, when I woke him up to have a look it was a bit crusty but once that cleared it wasn't so watery but still a very red and inflamed eye lid. So we decided to call the vets, and have now got an appointment for monday at 6.05pm...okay so I did want it earlier but this was the earliest they had (except in the morning when dads at work and I'm at school ) so yep. I know he's gunna be uncomfortable but it's not going to kill him.

This is the only pic I have and it's from yesterday? the day before?...

I think it could be conjunctivitus, have been chatting with someone on another forum and their ham seems to have a similar problem (the vet said it was mild conjunctivitus)

Wish us luck! Think I'm more nervous than the ham (oh, and he doesn't know yet :P)

It does look quite sore Jane but I am sure some drops will help. You could try bathing with some cooled boiled water with a little salt in it. Good luck and speedy recovery.

I might try that - so if I boil some water, wait for it to cool down a bit and add a bit of salt I can bath his eye with it..with a cotton bud maybe?

Yep I do hope they will give us something to help, he looks so uncomfortable but seems okay.

I managed to get a few new photos and a video...okay, so the photos are really bad but still, you can see the problem.

Had a bit of a problem- dads work is stupid, I rang him about 4:15 to find out if he could leave work early and they'd just told him he's got to go do a job at sheffield and he wont get there until atleast 5, then he needs to do the job and get home, so i asked my nannan to take me and she is so hopefully everythings fine now.

It went fine - the vet was really nice (ooh, and there was a tiny ikkle 10 week old kitty, a small doggy who wasn't happy and a big ginger kitty...all were sooo cute :P). Anyway, she saw him and gave me some eyedrops gel thingy to apply twice daily (she applied them already when we were there, so are to do it again in the morning) and also said it could help to boil some water with a bit of salt in it, leave it to cool down a bit then bathe his eye. Oh, and my nannan paid because she's silly and insisted : Altogether it cost under £20, about £17 according to my brother but I thought it cost more, anyway.. so yep, hopefully he'll be better in a few days

It's not as red and not as inflamed either, still quite sore but he's getting better.
