Exclamation -sigh- its happening again....

Ivanna is not eating her/his food mix and will only eat if i give him/her food with my hand.she/he will barely drink any water and was scratching him/her self and then squeaked. Which she/he has never done before.Been sleeping alot as well.... I hope what happened to Petey isn't happening to Ivanna..also i noticed that whenever ivanna is up she/he is hunched over with him/her eyes closed.
By the way Ivanna is already 2 years old.

Any suggestions on what it might be? I'm thinking its maybe the same thing as Petey.

I don't know what it could be, but at 2 years old, it could definitely be her time.

I'm sorry you might be losing another ham shortly after Petey But if that's the case, at least both of them have had naturally long lives.

Something to ask: is it very hot in her room right now? She could be overheated. Just a thought.

If it is that, you could try putting her in a cooler area with a fridge-cooled rock, cool water, etc.

If it is Ivanna's time she'll be happy you are with her till the end. I hope she pulls through for you.

Its not hot in the room right now. I also have the fan on close to her/his cage. But not directly on it.
So far Ivanna is moving around okay but still sleeps on his/her side outside of the house and breaths very rapidly. Hasn't really eaten much either today. So i might give Ivanna some baby food.

Exclamation Worried....

I checked on Ivanna a few minutes ago and she had a pimple looking yellow thing on her eye. then she began grooming herself and it disappeared and now one eye is open and the other eye is half open. I don't see any blood so i have no clue what happened to the yellow thing!

It might have been a lump of gunk (like we get eye sleep)
Hamsters often get sticky eyes, you have wipe gently with a cotton bud if she has problems opening it again.
