Unhappy Still worried about Daisy :(

Daisy has been on the baytril since Thursday but really hasn't improved. She seemed to perk up on Saturday but then seems to have dipped again now.
She is hardly eating anything - I've been giving her little treats, chicken, egg etc to tempt her and she will eat a little but not much.

I weighed her earlier and she has gone from 142g on Thursday to 112g today

I've taken away her wheel as she was trying to run last night and I didn't think it was a good idea as she hasn't been eating much - is that the right thing to do?

If anyone has any other ideas I could try then I would very much appreciate advice from you more experienced hamster owners.
Thanks.

Hey,

i think taking out the wheel was right. Did you try Baby-Porridge-Glasses? Every porridge from vegetables to meat, exept from pig! I would mix the porridge with oat floaks, maybe this will work ;O;

Poor hammie, i keep my fingers crossed!

You could give her one spoon (I give mine a little bowl) every day until she weigh her normal 140 g ;D

I think she's fading, she doesn't seem to be able to walk properly now. So I have moved her penthouse down to ground level and put everything close by. We have just had a little cuddle , she just lay on me

I am really sorry to hear that. What does the vet say? I hope that she gets better soon.

Sorry to hear about Daisy. Just make her feel comfortable and loved and she'll feel secure knowing that you're there for her. Hoping for the best x

Unfortunately Daisy passed - so I am going to close this thread - to save any confusion. Sleep well little lady.
