Red face Falling over!

I think i may be slightly paranoid and im blaming the net for this!!

Do your hamsters sometimes fall over?

Millie fell over the other day, was just on to her side. She was carrying a green bean in her mouth at the time and i think i may have cut it a wee bit too big and she tryed to stuff it in her pouch. Im not sure if she mis judged where she was walking, got a fright and fell over. Im sure she done it again but when she was coming down one of the platforms in the cage (savic cambridge)

I googled hamsters falling over and everything ive read says stroke, or ear infection or tumour and now im panicking theres something wrong with her.

She seems fine, eating, drinking, running on her wheel, climbing the bars, running in her ball etc etc and she got wieghed tonight and shes put weight on so hers weights fine.

I think i worry way to much about my pets but you can never be too careful and as i dont have much knowledge on hamsters who better to ask than you pro's

p.s Please tell me im being para and she isnt ill. She's just to damn cute to be ill

Seems like you're a very protective owner

Luna has fallen over a couple of times. The first dandelion root we gave her was a bit too big and she fell of one of the shelves in her cage lol!

If it seems to be happening a lot, do take her to the vets but remember hamsters, just like us, loose their balance sometimes

Sounds like nothing to worry about if shes not doing it all the time.

My guys fall over every now and then, normaly when their on their back legs and the strech up to far.
