Garden and Leisure???

There garden centres all over the uk there branches are:

Barnett Hill
Cadbury - Nr Bristol
Endsleigh
Gardenlands
Huntingdon
Melbicks
Percy Throwers

I'm looking at buying A Syrian hamster from there but want to know what there like/if anyone has bought one from one of those Stores?

I live very close to the Cadbury one, I always look at them, i think they come from a local breeder because of there size and colours (I may be wrong).

I have never actually brought one from there but I would like too

Anyway I thought you just got ben and jerry??

Jerry died tonight from wet tail (I think)

So I am Definately not going back to Pets At Home - I got him from the one near Ikea. I'm not rushing into it but im just thinking about better stores. Ben has now become Bubble and the new addition will be Squeak because Jerry is no more

Ben or should I say Bubble and Jerry were from the same cage so we are keeping a close eye on Bubble, he seems very lively, perky, eating, drinking and fine at the moment so fingers crossed.

I will never be buying from there again. It will either have to be from the one in newport or cadburys for me.

May I ask why you do not try a reputable breeder this time rather then having to hope that the next hamstermill baby will stay alive?

Both Peggy and Treo are from Barnet Hill garden and leisure, they are a really good pet shop

All the hamsters are fed on Harry hamster, have good sized clean cages, with toys and wheels too!
They are all handled so are pretty tame and the workers generally care about them.

I'm not a huge fan of Melbicks...their dwarfs are all hybrids, the setups for mice and gerbils aren't great, and they often use runged wheels...

I got all three of my babies from Pampurred pets, they are really good, they don't sell a lot of dwarfs tho mainly syrians, and they always have at least one breeder that works at the shop, I love all my hamsters, but was thinking of getting my next one from pets at home, maybe not now after what i've just read, rip Jerry.
As for garden and leisure i've never heard of it xx
