Newborns
While browsing through the hamster section of online small ads i have been coming across some very disturbing photos.
Photos of newly born hamsters in their nests disturbed by uncaring, greedy humans who obviously breed hamsters for money and want to secure a deposit for them as soon as they have been born.
I just saw an ad where there was still blood on tissue in the nest which made me feel disgusted with the people responsible.
I feel so sorry for the mother and the baby hamsters.
Is there anything that can be done about it?
Is there an animal welfare law that makes this illegal?
Something needs to be done about it and i'm wondering if anybody has any advice or ideas on where to start.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Newborns
I've just responded to one of these adverts, in fact its the most shocking one and expressed my views on a site where the replies are in public view.
