Default Identifying Syrian Hamster Colour?

I rescued this Syrian boy today, I named him Aiko, but I'm at a total loss for what colour he is. Syrians always confuse me, because so many of them look so similar to me. I originally thought perhaps some variation of silver grey? But then I was thinking perhaps some sort of extreme dilute, but I genuinely have no idea haha - i was thinking someone more experienced with Syrians/identifying them will have a way better idea than me!

He's VERY young & is absolutely tiny, so please pardon the quality of these pics - he's having a blast exploring, and can't sit still for a millisecond. Ofc, we love him regardless of colour. I'm just curious to know what it's called, as i think he is just gorgeous!

He looks like a Sepia silver grey to me with ? dominant spot as I think there are some white patches there

Thanks Souffle! What made me think that he's more likely to be extreme dilute than silver grey was his ear colour; as his ears are very light, and i read that sepia silver greys have to have dark (unless the dominant spot gene, if he has that - i thought he had some oddly spaced white patches too! - interferes with that?). Syrian genes aren't my strong suit; so many of them look so similar to my untrained eye haha.

I have a couple other photos, but I'm not sure how much of a help these will be, or if they'll confirm or rule out sepia silver grey;

Yes the dominant spot affects the ear colour usually making them patchy. The ear colour also develops more as they get older. What colour is his belly? Is it white? Sometimes other colours carried will all mix in to create a colour that is not exactly a standard colour. This happens often with greys carrying cinnamon and cream. Thinks might change as he gets older. He does look to be dominant spot just with not many spots

His belly is white, yep!

Okay, that makes sense; I had a silver grey dominant spot in the past, and his ears were patchy. So you think this guys just a poorly marked (For lack of a better term?) dominant spot, and his colour is sepia grey?

I also have these pics, so you can see his belly colour better & also his face; i think the face pic also shows his colouring perhaps a bit better. He almost a yellow-tinted grey

What a tiny chap, how old do you think he is? And what big ears, I’m sure he will grow into them

He’s the tiniest Syrian I’ve ever owned! His old owners told me he was 3 months, but honestly I feel he’s closer to 8/10 weeks. & he does have massive ears! Haha I’m sure he’ll grow into them with time

aww bless, so glad you got him (saw the other thread)
Those pics are so cute
Maybe it is something to do with silver /greys - my Star who is a silver/grey is the smallest hamster I have ever seen let alone owned. I thought it was maybe to do with her being mistreated and very malnourisded until she was rescued but maybe it's not.
