Hamster getting lighter?

When I got my hamster the pet store said he was a robo, posted a picture of him in hamster hideout and someone told me that he was actually a Campbell's Dwarf. Just took some pictures of him yesterday and to me he looks so much lighter than he did a few months ago. Is it possible he's a hybrid or winter white? Here's some pictures for reference, now is in the more natural habitat. (If I can figure out how to add them correctly). There seems to be more white on him and even his face is a lighter shade of gray now.

That's definitely a Russian hybrid you have there, their colour often changes quite a lot, with some it's seasonal but most just change as they mature & get older.

Your hamster is definitely a Russian hybrid. Lightening of the fur can be due to two things either WW colour changes but that usually seasonal and normally happen in the winter months when days are shorter. Or slivering which is a gene in Campbell’s which can cause their fur to lighten too
