Exclamation Help!!!

So yesterday, my hamster (1 year old male Winter White) was bleeding from his scent gland (on his bottom). I thought he was trying to make himself more smelly or something, but today he was shaking violently and he needed help to move around. He also had a small lump on his side near his bum (NO it is not the cheek pouch). Please help me, I don't know if he is infected or if he has a tumour.

He sounds to be very unwell and needs to be seen by a vet as an emergency. I hope he can be seen soon.

I would say go to the vets...there's no reason for a healthy hamster to bleed

Sorry to hear about your hamster. You took him to the vet on the 10th and he died on the 12th. Did the vet not suggest to put him to sleep when he diagnosed the tumor? I'm quite disturbed by the fact that he was in a lot of pain.

Okay to be honest they found a lump in his stomach and told us to go to an exotic specialist because we needed to take him to the vet quickly, and the only one that was open was DoveLewis. They gave us some pain medication, but he died and that was when I was able to see the tumor.
