Natural theme storage bin playpen

The ideas you suggested are all very good and practical. I certainly don't want to give my hamsters a nice playpen thinking I'm doing a good thing for them and end up harming them in any way.

I know too that being out of their familiar environment is a huge stress for them.

I am going to put the 'natural playpen' idea on hold for now. I don't have space in my hamster room for four large storage boxes. They certainly don't lack space in their cages, which are very big, and they get a lot of 'out-the-cage' time with us in the evenings so this is a project that isn't urgent.

I really do appreciate the advice.
