Another escape!

Can my nerves take it?!!!



As i went to bed last night i always check on the hammies to make sure they are safe and sound. I noticed that Sweetie-my baby sable-seemed to be making distressing sounds so i turned on the light.as i got nearer to her cage i wondered what the beige thing was at the back of her cage...

well it was Peaches, my cream female,sniffing at Sweetie through the bars!



I grabbed her quick,checked her over and put her back in her cage(an imac but not a fantasy). her cage dorr wide open so padlocked that one as well.



Peaches climbed 2 levels of shelving and luckily didnt fall off.

I think your hams are passing cage opening tips around! I've said before we use 'dog lead type' metal clips which have never failed. I should lock up all your doors. Wire sandwich bag ties are a good emergency soloution and clothes pegs work well too!
