Whimzees dog chews for dwarf hamster
Hello. I recall reading on this forum that Whimzees dog chews (toothbrush shaped things) are ok to give dwarf hamsters.
I tried using the search function to find the thread in which this was mentioned but it isn't working on my version of the page...
Please can I confirm that Whimzees are indeed ok for dwarf hamsters?
Thanks!

Yes, they're suitable for any species of hamster. I wouldn't give the veggie strip or veggie sausage Whimzees as they have clove bud oil, but the regular toothbrushes and such are perfectly fine!

Thank you AmityvilleHams, that is good to hear! I've just put one into Nanuk (my Winter White hybrid)'s cage and he was on it in seconds!

Oh yes! They love a Whimzee. I get the xs or s toothbrush and the odd alligator. If it disappears then it has been dragged to the nest!

We will see tonight where the Whimzees ended up!
Nanuk tends to move his things around a lot. Norman likes taking things from his upstairs section downstairs while Monty and Rollo seem to leave things where they found them but that may be because Rollo is still tiny.
Oh and I did get the XS toothbrush shaped ones.

I couldn't figure out what Cadmium was doing with hers; they're almost as big as she was when I got her - hell, they're still almost as big as she is XD Turns out she absolutely had carried it off to her nest.
Just me, or is it absurdly cute to see dwarf hamsters running off with something almost as big as they are? XD

Re: Whimzees dog chews for dwarf hamster
I've yet to catch one of mine dragging anything sizeable away but it must be insanely cute to see.
My one managed somehow to move his seed ball from P@H which is solid and about the size of a golf ball from the top layer of his cage down his external tubes to the bottom level. I would have payed good money to see this happening!
