Re: Meet Norman
Thank you. Being something of a military history fan, I named him after Major-General Norman Cota, who very bravely took his troops ashore under heavy fire on Omaha Beach in Normandy on D-Day. He's a grand little hamster so he deserved to be named after a grand and brave figure from history.
I believe he is a hybrid, He's a rescue from a litter that was confiscated from a pet shop but from what I understand he has Russian Dwarf and Winter White in him. I may be incorrect though.

Re: Meet Norman
Aww heck, Major Norman oozes so much gorgeousness, all of your hammies do. Good on you for adopting him. He's one lucky boy.

Commented earlier but looks like it disappeared?
Congratulations on your lovely little ham, he's gorgeous!
Weird, I rescued a hamster yesterday and also named it Norman!
Can't wait to start taming but going to give him a few days to himself first x
edit: Looks like the first post is back now, sorry for the double post!!
