Default Moving Robo Hamster into new cage worries

I have a sweet little Roborovski hamster named Bamboo currently housed in a big cage with 500 square inch of floor space. As far as I can tell he's happy but I would like to upgrade his home to something bigger, I'm currently looking at the Living World Green Eco Habitat (Medium) for him.

My main worry is that I've only had him for about 3-4 months, he's still skittish around me but will take treats from my hand and sit still on my hand for a few seconds. Would moving him into a new enclosure be too stressful for him? He doesn't seem interested in being outside his enclosure yet (much too scary!) so I wonder if a bigger home would satisfy his exploring needs.

I know that I should move his current bedding, toys, chews, housing items into a new enclosure so his scent is there but I'm still worried I'd stress him out.

Any advice is appreciated, I want what's best for him.

Thank you!
