I'm so sorry to hear that Ria. I've enjoyed reading about Percy's life with you. I hope he has a peaceful end at home.

Re: Percy
I'm so terribly sorry to hear this Ria P. You have given Percy the best possible life he could have had, you've taken extraordinary care of him and been so attentive to his needs. He could not have had a finer guardian than you.
May his passing be peaceful and painless and may his sweet little soul rest in peace.
It is absolutely awful when one of our little hamster friends passes away, but please know that you gave Percy a wonderful life.

Re: Percy
Ohh ria I am so sorry to hear about Percy. You have given him such an amazing home and the best life he could ever have hoped to have. You were lucky to find each other. I hope, as others have said, his passing is peaceful but that will not prevent the hole in your heart he will leave. I have tears streaming down my face as I type this. Sending love to you both. Be at peace Percy x

Re: Percy
Thank you all for your kind words.
I've just gently picked up Percy and moved him to a dry spot because i was worried of him lying in a damp bed. His body is lifeless and cold, he's still breathing but he never opened his eyes again and looks like he is sleeping in a bed of soft substrate. I used to be a nurse and have seen people die so know that a peaceful end is a lot to be greatful for. A human or a hamster, it makes no difference, we are all creatures who deserve to be loved and cared for till the end.
