Default Question about "bug bombs"

We've been having some issues with spiders, ticks, and other bugs in my house, so my mom bought this "bug bomb" thing which is a fogger can that spreads a chemical throughout the house, which kills any bugs in the house and any eggs/baby bugs.
I had already planned on removing my gerbils and Pip while the house is being "bombed" (approx. 2 hrs) but I had a question... I'm a little concerned about their cages after the chemical has spread. Does anyone have any experience with using these, and whether or not I ought to completely replace the bedding/substrate after this process is over? I do keep my hamster/gerbil bedding in a separate airtight container in the garage so there's no way it could be affected.
Thanks in advance for advice

i would take the cage and gerbils and hamster outside the house while its being bug bombed and then go inside the house open up all the window to make sure the chemicals are out and then i would say its safe to bring them back in the house

I’d do a full cage clean out before putting them back
