Much more secure.. unless you supply a castle for him to climb up and over the sides of the play pen. Maybe not good for chewers, as the material is pretty thin.

Thank you so much for this link! Why on earth didn't I think of a pop up play pen?!! I don't trust Hesper with a barred one for a second. I'm in the UK but found the same one easy enough on the .co.uk site for £12. Perfect!!!
