Re: Hamster name suggestions
I'd advise you to wait until you've had your hamster for about a week and then name him or her. I named mine soon as I got him and wanted an H name to go with Hamster. Was a toss up between Horace or Henry and he ended up with the name Henry Hamster. BUT a much more appropriate name would have been Dracula. He hates daylight, comes out at night and bit me once drawing blood. He has a pale, ratty face and a grey coat. Too late to rename him now because he's started to listen to his name, when it suits him.

Haha how funny!
I agree - in my experience, names have come about organically once meeting a new furry friend

Re: Hamster name suggestions
Some people find that it helps to choose a name that coincides with a particular theme such as food names or characters from a particular theme so maybe you might get some inspiration there.
I usually have a list of names I like but don't usually choose the exact name until I meet the hamster. Originally one of my previous hamsters was supposed to be called Jim after the songwriter Jim Steinman but when I met the hamster, the name Jim didn't suit him so he became James instead.

Re: Hamster name suggestions
Mine just came to me the night before I knew for definite I was adopting Luna. I had seen a couple of photos of her though. I'm sure the right name will come to you.
