Default Wooden toys

I have a sleep and play cheese which has been in Misty cage multiple times but I want to give it to my other hamster. Can I just give it to her or do I need to clean it? If so, how can I clean it as it is coloured and has metal on it so I don’t want to put it in the oven?
Thanks

Wood will probably hold Misty's scent for quite some time so you can't just give it to another hamster, you could clean it but the colour runs out of those I think if they get really wet, if I want to remove the scent from wood I soak things in unscented safe disinfectant (I use safe4) dry completely then still let things air out for a while after just to be sure, that does seem to work but it takes time & I haven't tried it on coloured wood I must admit, might get a bit messy!

Thanks I don’t really want to risk it but I have seen youtubers sharing these kind of toys I don’t know how they clean them. I might just buy another one
