Exclamation Dusty bathing sand?

So I opened up a new box of the tiny friends farm bathing sand and started pouring it in Tofus jar and then it looked like smoke was blowing out the top. I then looked in the jar and the box and theres quite a few sections of really fine dust looking stuff amongst the normal sized sand grains.
I was touching the dust type particles with my finger and my finger was left feeling dusty and had like a dusty whitish residue on it.
Obviously I'm concerned thats it will be too fine for a hamster and could cause problems.
Has anyone else had problems with tiny friends?
(pictures are bad because of lighting but they might help idk)

Yeah there have been quite a few reviews saying it’s dusty and almost chalky. To be honest I didn’t notice at first since the pieces were so coarse but having checked again recently I definitely agree. Ended up changing to a different sand.

I have to agree that I haven't been impressed with it since the change but (at least the batches I had) I would still consider it safe to use.
I've switched too, using up what I have left but mostly using Rodipet sand now.

I’ve switched to using playsand. I didn’t notice any dust last time I bought the Tiny Friends Farm sand but my hamsters were not impressed with it.

None of my hams seemed remotely bothered by the change in the sand, they didn't even seem to notice it was me that didn't like it!
