Aww congrats on your new little girl, sounds like she's settling in well and already confident!

In this country there's Bunny dwarf hamster dream expert on zooplus which is quite good. Rodipet also do good dwarf foods that I do prefer a bit. If you don't mind spending a bit on postage then the Getzoo foods look really nice, and there are some good mixes on mixerama. Not much else in pet shops unfortunately but these mixes are better and you can buy an extra bag to stick in the freezer.

Pellets aren't exactly a suitable diet for hamsters, they can be added to a good seed mix but they're very unnatural and it's better if you can avoid them.

Yeah, she's pretty chilled out and seems to have a lovely relaxed temperament.

Thanks for your advice. I'll have a little look at the sites you suggested. I was looking to order some stuff from Zooplus soon so that could be a good starting point! And I'll steer clear of the pellets and hope she gets a bit less selective with something else.

I'm having broccoli for dinner tonight so I think I'll try her on a little piece of that when I'm chopping it up in a bit. I'll report back on how she goes with it! I hope she's a fan. It's one of my favourites!

I'd second what mangoandmimi says about food, the Bunny mix on Zooplus is pretty good, Rodipet is good too & delivery isn't too expensive, Mixerama do some lovely food but delivery is really expensive, I haven't actually tried any foods from Getzoo.
If you're ordering from Zooplus anyway she should do fine with the Bunny mix.
Agree about pellets too, she may just be being picky because her current mix isn't ideal, foraging for food is really important for them & a good variety of different elements in the mix is an important form of enrichment for them, she'll probably be less picky with a better mix.
Hope she enjoys her broccoli

https://youtu.be/Q_2-RG_UIKs (Link to a youtuber doing a video how to stop your hamster bar chewing) it is old but has a few good methods in it that might or might not work . The most common cause of bar chewing is stress or boredom
