Default Hamster in the same room while "modelling"

Hiya so wasn't sure if this was more a healthcare topic or not.

I recently moved with Hoji and decided to get back into the tabletop game 40k, my main worry is however that I'm in the same room as hoji. I've been using Gurilla Glue and I'm just worrying that it could be harmful for her been in the same room with fumes, I have the same worry for when I start painting.

Another worry is if any glue is dropped on the floor.

The room where in is pretty big and we're at separate sides from her to my modelling desk. There is only one other room in the flat and it's like a bit cubists where the bed will go and I don't like been in different rooms to her when I'm in.

Any answers are appreciated, ta

I wouldn't risk it, some of those fumes can be harmful to tiny lungs & the stronger smells will be very unpleasant for a ham too.

I wouldn't risk it either as the fumes from the glue can potentially cause harm to your hamsters and as their sense of smell is much stronger than our it could be really overpowering and could be disorientating as hamsters rely heavily on their sense of smell. It would be best to do your modelling if possible in a different room to your hamster.

Hi, thanks for the replies, I decided to take the modeling table on the veranda; I can still spy on the cage through the window and leave the door open to hear him. Ta

Not sure which country you’re in but I bought a big bottle of penal glue from amazon.de. It’s very good strong wood glue with no aroma - amazing stuff. The Germans use it for wood items for hamster cages and it’s supposed to be non toxic and pet safe. I love my bottle of pineal wood glue

Incidentally when I saw the title of this thread I thought you meant a different kind of modelling - haha. And thought it was about whether it was appropriate in front of your hamster or may shock him LOL
