New ham, starting to grow in confidence - I hope!

Hey!

Thanks for asking. I’ve been trying to let him get on with things at his pace this week, and a couple of nights ago I was thrilled because I lay my hand in the cage with a treat on for a while and eventually he climbed onto my palm to sit and eat it! I was so happy!!

Sadly, since then he seems scared of me again, and last night he got up and hid behind his wheel for ages, only coming out when I turned all the lights out and pretended I’d gone!

I will keep persevering. I’ve had him a month now, and I just want him to like me and be happy!
