Question Are they actually banded dom spots?!

So i was looking at Satchius and i know he has one tiny spot on his middle and his mom had one small stripe going through her middle like a banded. So are they actually banded dominant spots?

First 2 pics of mom Lola
Second 2 is of Satchius before his full skirt grew in
Last is him now (sorry about low quality of last one my phone wouldn't let me use flash because of low battery)

Yes they do look to be banded domi spots. 'Banded only' do not have the white blaze up the face. Also the bands are quite wide indicating that there are two patterns there.

Is there a way to breed the band out?

Banded is dominant and so is dominant spot. If you breed to a non patterned hamster (you should not breed two patterns together anyway) some of the pups will get a band and some will not provided the patterned hamster is not a double banded in which case they would all get a banded gene. Pups showing only dominant spot pattern will not have a banded gene. So one of these hamsters mated to a non patterned hamster would have the chance of having banded dominant spots, banded, dominant spot and non patterned hamsters but it is a lottery what you get in each litter.
If the parent had two banded genes then you would only get banded and banded dominant spots and would need another generation to get to a non banded animal.
