Re: A new hamster?
That looks lovely too.
I’ll keep you posted on which one I choose. I can’t decide what to do about the hamster though. By the time I’m set up, that litter will be 16 weeks at least. Don’t want to think of them being left behind though. They were so lovely.

Re: A new hamster?
Hello again!
I got the skyline Marrakesh tank all set up and today I got my new little boy. He’s a little baby, around 7-8 weeks. He’s only been in the tank about 30 mins and is hiding behind the wheel! I’ll let him explore & come out in his own time and get used to things. I’m sure it’s pretty horrible suddenly being separated from brothers & sisters. I’ll try and put a photo on in the next few days.
He may be Bernard/Bernie but not sure yet!

Re: A new hamster?
That’s brilliant news congrats on your new little one. I’m sure he’ll come out of his shell soon, looking forward to seeing him. The marrakesh was a great choice

Re: A new hamster?
Thank you!
I thought he must be hungry/thirsty from all the upheaval but he’s not venturing out to look around. Am I best to just leave him to find the food & water and stuff on his own? He doesn’t look very comfortable squashed behind the wheel!

Re: A new hamster?
Bless him I’d just turn the light off and leave him to his own devices, he’ll come out and have a nosy round pretty soon!

Re: A new hamster?
Congrats! That's lovely news
I agree it's best to just leave him to settle now, they find food & water in their own time,.

Re: A new hamster?
Well he’s had a tentative explore of the tank and is now trying out the wheel!
He’s lovely! I hope he settles in okay. It’s so nice to have a hamster again!
