Default Where should I keep my hamster

I am planning on getting my first hamster and I am super excited!! However, I don’t know where I would keep it. I was just wondering if you guys have any ideas on where to keep it and also where you keep your hamsters. Thx

We keep our hamsters in our basement because it is cooler and not as wild as it is upstairs. Where you keep your hamster is up to you! Because the majority of hamsters are nocturnal they will be up at night and me on their wheel and what not, so if you are fine with noise at night you could keep you hamster in you room maybe! A hamster should not really be where there is a lot of noise and commotion! You can really keep a hamster anywhere where it is safe! I hope you can post pics of your hammy!

I keep mine in the living room, it's where I spend a lot of time.

I keep mine in the living room too.
Which ever room you choose the cage should not be in direct sunlight or any drafts nor too close to a radiator or any other source of direct heat.
You want somewhere the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much.
They soon get used to normal household noisy but you don't want to put a cage anywhere there will a lot of loud noise.
