It has been a long time
It really has, I have missed this community and thought about you all and all of your hamsters in the past year. I didn't feel ready, I was grieving hard for my hams, and life was difficult.
I am finally ready to say hello, to offer my advice and learn more things about these amazing creatures once again. I still don't currently keep any hamsters, so I won't be posting so much, but I am glad to be back.
Abe is still with us, at the great age of 2 years 8 months old. He is a little trooper. To think that I thought I'd lose him as a 2 week old pup.. I never thought he would ever outlive his sister, dad and mother. He always amazes me. Unfortunately Belle passed away at the beginning of the year. She had a great life though, and was very much loved. I went to visit Abe at Leedshams a couple of weeks ago, he definitely isn't the baby face we all knew anymore, but is still the sweetest of course! Seeing him made me want to come back here, these animals are just amazing and I will always love them.

Thank you both I believe he will, he has slowed down a lot, and fell asleep when we got him out for a cuddle. It is really warm here at the moment so I don't blame him! It'd be amazing if he reaches his 3rd birthday
