Default dandruff

hello everyone,
a few weeks ago I noticed dandruff all over sherbets skin.
it has got better but is it something normal or should I be concerned.
His bed is clean, and I haven't done anything to his skin.
thanks,
superhammygirl

Are you sure it wasn't sand? Sometimes when they've been in the sand bath the grains of sand in the coat can look like dry skin.
If he does have dry skin then it could be he lacks something in his diet.

If he has also been loosing fur and has bald patches it is possible that he could have ringworm. Of course there are other reasons he might appear to have dandruff like cypher said.

Unfortunately sherbet does not have a sand bath. What could it be that he could be lacking in his diet?
Also he is not loosing any fur, he just has dry skin.

What do you feed him?
Dry skin can result from a number of deficiencies, things you could try are some extra flax seeds, a drop of evening primrose oil on some food, a little wheatgerm & (although not all like it!) nutritional yeast, just a tiny bit. You may need a combination of these or maybe even all as one thing will rarely be enough.
