I won an award for my cage!

I made a hamster cage for my A level product design coursework which some of you may know as I posted a thread about it a while back (I'll insert the link at the bottom if I can find it).
Anyway every year the 6th form art and tech students display their work for an exhibition at my school. This was a lot of work for me as I do art, photography and product design.
Throughout the week people kept telling me they thought my cage was really good as we had to set it up early. I also heard some other 6th formers who took part in the exhibition talking about hamsters

Yesterday (at the actual exhibition evening) loads of people were saying that my hamster cage was so good!
At the end of the evening they hand out awards for year 13 (one for art, one for photography, one for tech) and the same with year 12s. They then have the overall prize which they gave to me! Mainly for my hamster cage apparently! I can't believe it and I just wanted to share with you guys. In my mind I mainly see all the tiny mistakes or improvements I could make .

Well done indeed cookietiger. That is a fantastic achievement and very well earned. Your cage was thoughtfully designed for the hamster and supplies. Also it is very well crafted as I have looked at your photos again. Congratulations!

Congratulations! It is an amazing cage and I'm sure when they were awarding, they considered not just the design and how well it was made, but the thought that had gone into providing a suitable habitat for a hamster. Would love to see more photos of it all set up!

Thank you guys! Sadly I can only take it home in september time in case a moderator changes their mind and wants to come in or they get it remarked or something. But as soon as I get it home I'm giving it a deep clean and will not wait to show you guys the set up.

Well done on your award it was well deserved. I really love the aesthetics of your cage and I'm sure a hamster will love living inside it too when you get it home.

The wait to receive the product you made is so difficult - I know this feeling as I did Product design too for my a-levels.
I would really love it to the cage when it set up!
