Default Long Story Short :(

My recently owned fur babies Daenerys and Gilly were getting on so well, then out of the blue both of them passed away without warning days apart This was a few months ago.

No obvious signs of illness so I assume that it was something genetic or something that took them very suddenly rip little ones ....

It took me a while to get over the sudden loss of the two young little ladies, maybe the reason why I took a break from here.....

However last week a caught a glimpse of a pretty lady in the adoption section of P@H , a blue fawn with shaved side and little limp.

Came in from an owner who could no longer looked after her and had mites and a deformed little leg ( very agile just a little waddle ! ) vet checked and good to go .....

Needless to say Princess Peggy is now mine welcome home little one !

I am so sorry to hear of Daenerys and Gilly's mysterious passings. It does sound like a possible issue with genetics. RIP, little ones.

I am glad that you gave Princess Peggy a loving, forever home with you. I hope that the two of you have a marvelous time together and she is with you for a long time. I look forward to getting to know her and seeing pics of your little princess whenever she is settled in more. Congrats again to you both!!!!

Thank You so much both !
We upgraded her cage a few days ago after finding a bargain hamster haven on Facebook selling sites (£40 with lots of accessories !) so she’s been settling into that and having a great time in there !

And she’s a real sweety too , no signs of fear or aggression , is being handled happily and I can even give her little kisses (I’m sure she likes it really ! Haha)

How can I easily post pictures btw ?

Thank you again !

Congrats on your great cage and accessories deal; that is awesome news! I'm so happy to hear that you and you darling ham are creating such a loving and special bond with one another.

The information below are extremely useful guides to embedding and resizing photos in a post. Good luck; I look forward to seeing your precious Princess Peggy.

Embedding Photos On The Forum Post by April Pearl

1. Click "Go Advanced" under the text box (next to "Quick Reply").

2. Select "Manage Attachments" in the "Additional Options" section under the text box.

3. A new window will open. Click "choose file" and select an image from your device. Note: if the image is too large, you will have to resize it before uploading it.

4. Click "upload" and your image will appear under "current attachments". You can upload up to 5 photos.

5. Leave the current (Manage Attachments) window, and return to the "Reply to Topic" window.

6. Click the paper clip icon on the toolbar above the text box. A drop down list of the photos you gave uploaded will appear.

7. Select the photo that you want to embed from the drop down list. Once you have done this, an attachment will appear in the text box.

8. When you press "Submit Reply" or "Preview Post", you will be able to see your photo directly embedded into your post.

Resizing Photos To Embed Within a Forum Post by Razor

For Windows:

Right click on the photo you want to resize - select Edit - Paint opens. Click on "Resize" which is displayed at the top. Select "pixels" and 700 (which is about right for the forum page). Then click - File - save as - jpeg and you then have the option to rename the photo (eg file name resized) and save it where you want, which keeps your original photo intact.

For IOS or Android:

I believe one of the best/easiest app to use is called "Image Size". Again it gives you the option to select "pixel" and it is the width that needs to be 700 ish (the length should change automatically when you select the width). It's free but has in-app purchases.
