New Arrival at Metallica

Yesterday was the AGM for the National Hamster Council (I'm the PRO and Webmaster) so on Friday evening I set off to Vectis's so we could travel up to Warwickshire together for the meeting the following morning.

As the meeting was being held at Lilliput Hamstery, I couldn't help but have a look in her hamster shed to see if she had any Normal Females available and so this little lady found her way home with me...

Meet Lilliput's Charlotte-May at Metallica who has come to Metallica Hamstery to hopefully be paired to one of The Cormes lads when she is old enough.

As some of you may have noticed, Charlotte has something in common with one of the previous Metallica Hamsters and that is the name of May. This is a tribute to Lady May who was my first female Chinese and who overcame shyness to enter in the pet class in 2015 and bring home Metallica Hamstery's first rosette.

Aww, congrats on bringing the lovely and adorable Charlotte-May home with you! She is a real precious darling, and I hope that her future pairing goes well and brings you many thriving pups to your hamstery. I love her name and photo. I look forward to getting to know this little one and seeing more of her, too.

She wasn't planned - as such!

I knew I was looking for another female for my breeding plans so I was going to ask Lilliput anyway but I didn't necessarily think I'd be coming home with one so soon. When I asked Lilliput and she offered me the opportunity to have a look at what she had available in her hamstery, it was too good of an opportunity to miss. Once I set eyes on little Charlotte, I couldn't say no.

In hindsight I should have bought a carrier with me but Lilliput was kind enough to loan me one and I'll return it at the next show.

I totally understand finding it totally impossible to say no to that adorable, lovely face. She is a truly wonderful surprise, and I'm so happy that she has found her new home with you and your hamstery. That was sweet of Lilliput to lend you her carrier, too.

So lovely to see Charlotte-May on the big screen, she is very adorable. What a great place to have a meeting though, at a hamstery
