Default Herman and Mila sleep in the same room?

So I house my hamster Herman in my bedroom. My bedroom is also where my golden retriever Mila (mee-lah) sleeps. She has shown zero interest in Herman which doesn't surprise me considering 1: Her age, she's 7 years old and 2: she has shown zero interest in rodents in the past. Only interest she has is birds. Her and I even use to chase pheasants during her younger years.
Mila's eyes don't "lock on" to Herman at all like they do when we get Canada geese or other birds fly over the yard or land in it.

Considering this, would it still stress out Herman having Mila sleep in the same room his cage is in, or is he okay being that Mila doesn't really care he's there. Mila doesn't even come up to sniff the cage. She did it a few times when I first got him but that was it.

My hamster and cocker spaniel sleep in the same room and I haven't had any problems - that said my hamster is a good metre off the ground and my cocker spaniel is very small so they never see each other, and both the hamster and dog are very chilled out which I think helps. I wouldn't be concerned as long as your hamsters closure is secure and out of the dogs reach, and the dog shows no interest/your ham isn't exhibiting stress signals.
